"cell system" is radio numb-nuts; its just a closed circuit with an inferior freqs versus HF. "Also the moving map behind the location of the car..." Its called relative grid or PPI (plan position indicator). I don't know the name of the SA company nor the cost of their product. I simply posted my recollection of it to explain how the transpoders are useless once thieves know about them. This technology is better suited for fleet management. To this end, phone either: OSL 604-986-4440; or QMar 514-844-7572 OSL's product allows one to see a whole fleet of ships, boats -- I guess cars as well -- in real time. The Navy/police use this off-the-shelf technology to illustrate the position of small boats in harbor security operations.
