To all again...RE: DWA RS alerts etc.
There have been discussions about the alerts on DWA that show only in the professional subscription that does not show in the individual subscriptions. This is because the individual subscriptions don't have RS charts and so therefore the database doesn't generate the alert signals that you hear us box seaters mentioning. This has caused much confusion and we are working on it at DWA.
We are trying to come up with a way that we can promote correct and needed information to those with the individual subscription. I know you all are gonna say "Give us RS charts!"
However...
There has to be a big distinction between the professional and individual subscription and RS charts are part of that distinction. BUT, considering the importance of RS charts, their information specifically, we have no intention of withholding that information from the individual subscribers. The alerts are very useful and the new DWA RS chart information is a dandy feature that I'd like to see included in your service.
Again, this is one of the things we are working on. Believe me when I say that there are so many things in the fire, some excellent ideas, that it makes my head spin wondering how we are going to do it! I had no idea the extent of the database and just a simple " Why don't we just add the alerts" ... isn't simple. There is a very talented and hard working group at DWA that is working on putting all these ideas in motion.
Hang in there and by all means keep posting your questions especially if something confuses you. This gives me insight that is much needed and gratefully accepted.
The group here at SI is the most informed Piffers out there, that is for sure. Information is posted here on this thread, information that you would not receive on the individual subscription, at almost lightening speed. Not just by me or Tommy, there are many watchdogs out there.
Coming up soon, very soon, is going to be another stock contest that is going to be a lot of fun! It's a team environment and we are all excited about it. Maybe we'll play some games along with the stock contest - we'll see. We only have a short time to put it together.
Also in the works is Email alerts, so make sure DWA has your correct email. Much more and I don't want to spoil all the surprises :-)
