A clear explanation of EBAY's earnings is in this link - or maybe not so clear. I picked eBay simply because it reported earnings yesterday and many sleight-of-hand tricks used by Corporate America can be seen in its press release..." So actually maybe I'm not surprised EBAY doesn't want their shareholders or registered users to listen to the Q&A of the conference call. It would confuse the freaking hell out of people, excuse my french. It's actually better that you get the nice rosy headline from CBS Marketwatch or something saying how EBAY beat estimates by 1 cent. This equities market, especially in the face of this internet frenzy, is absolute lunacy. I'm just glad I'm able to make a buck from it. I have one lousy question. Has anyone ever bothered to add up the valuation of all the junk internet IPO's that are out now? They have absolutely got to be riduculous. Companies making thousands, but their CEO's damn proud that they own a billion dollar company. What a joke. My hand goes out to Warren Buffet, who is the only one who will survive this crash when it happens. haha :)
