charliex - If capex were to increase industry wide (which it seems to be doing), there is a multiplier affect for PMC for two reasons. #1 - as more and more customers opt for ASSPs vs. ASICs, merchant chip makers like PMC should grow faster than the mkt. #2 - PMC's trek up the board. As PMC captures more real estate on the boards and moves past the Phy layer, they should also grow faster than the mkt.

Btw, IMHO, we still haven't seen anything yet. As xDSL and cable always-on, broadband access expands over the next five years, and more and more businesses deploy bandwidth guzzling apps, the pressure on the edge and core (let alone the access) will be enormous. It should be a nice ride.
