SALT LAKE CITY, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 28, 1999--
WordCruncher Internet Technologies, Inc. (OTC BB: WCTI), announced
today that it has filed an application with The Nasdaq Stock Market,
Inc. for listing on Nasdaq. This application follows the previously
announced submission by the company of a Form S-1 Registration
Statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. WCTI also
announced that it has received comments from the SEC on their S-1
filing and will be responding to them within the next two weeks.
Kenneth W. Bell, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer,
made the following statement concerning the filing of the application:
"The filing of this application continues WCTI's progress towards
increasing the visibility and liquidity of its common stock. Coupled
with the effectiveness of our Registration Statement this will put
WCTI in a position to better access the financial markets as our
company moves ahead." Bell continued, "While the processing of our
Nasdaq application and the completion of our Registration Statement
may take several weeks, we believe that we can complete this process
and make the move to Nasdaq prior to the end of the third quarter of
this year."
