(PR Wires) PRW: Quintek Announces Contract With Celsius Group

CAMARILLO, Calif., July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Quintek Technologies Inc. (OTC
Bulletin Board: QTEK), a leading information technology and services firm,
and Qtek AB (Quintek's Swedish subsidiary) today announced a conversion
contract from the Celsius Group (www.celsius.se), a multi-billion dollar
Swedish conglomerate and parent company to Quintek's strategic partner
Bofors AB.
The new contract requires conversion of over 120,000 digital files into
aperture card media to provide long-term backup to Celsius' electronic
database. The conversion operation will be performed, using Quintek's 4300
system, at Qtek AB's conversion and archiving center located in Karlskoga,
Sweden. Efforts are currently underway to configure software, purchase
aperture card media, and prepare additional equipment in order to meet
contractual requirements.
The Celsius Group, formed in 1977, is comprised of several large-scale
Swedish operations, including Kockums, Celsius Tech, FFV, Aerotech, Bofors
and Celsius Invest. The Celsius Group is highly focused on the defense
industry and related areas of commercial technology. Products and services
include: submarines, drilling rigs, surface combat vessels with stealth
technology, rail vehicles, flight radio systems, bridge components, military
defense systems, laser guided missiles, early warning aircraft and mine
detectors. Celsius uses a combination of electronic data management and
aperture cards to manage and archive engineering documents critical to
product construction and maintenance.
Quintek supplies environmentally friendly equipment, software, media, and
services for converting digital information into archival media for off-site
backup and long-term storage. Off-site backup insures against the loss of
digital information due to catastrophic events. Long-term storage media
insures against the loss of digital information due to computer virus,
technology obsolescence, year 2000 rollover, equipment failure, media
degradation, change in formatting standards, and software incompatibility.
Quintek is headquartered in Camarillo, California, with Sales and Marketing
based in Washington DC, manufacturing and Engineering based in Karlskoga
Sweden (at Bofors AB), and Engineering & Field support based in Montpelier,
Idaho. Existing customers include TRW, Caltrans, US Navy, Lockheed-Martin,
Dresser Industries, Saudi Aramco Oil Company, Duke Power among others.
