Chew on this for a second. You're a short seller. You have piece of information that you know will drive the Iomegans wild, but you don't want to short more than you have presently shorted. Would you:
1) Do nothing?
2) Cover some of your position so you could reshort at higher prices?

Now, we do not fit into the above category, but many short sellers do.
