SEATTLE.WA - JULY 28, 1999 - Global Business Information Directory, Inc. ("Global") (OTCBB: GBDI) a global business directory providing business with an opportunity to market themselves worldwide on the Internet, today announced that it had acquired the first in a series of European Databases.
The new database from Germany houses approx 3.1 million companies. Global anticipates that these numbers will increase as other German companies, not included in the database, utilize Global's free registration system. Free registration can be accessed through Global's website at www.gbid.com. Each country database added to Global's directory will allow the sales and marketing team (Associate Partner) for that country or region to begin offering the revenue producing services such as Global's "Corporate Overview Pages", website hosting, website manufacturing and online advertising. Global expects such activity in Germany to begin early this fall.
