hsg, the following post came from the Yahoo board. While not known to be a quality board I thought this post shows there are people out there (besides me) that grasp the big picture. What can I say -- Good Luck to those wading back in to BII! They're going to need it BIG TIME! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Excellent post on BIDS from the board
over at Yahoo by Mark de Shark

"Back to BIDS.

I agree that the future of e-commerce is big. But that doesn't
mean that just any old e-commerce company is going to be a
winner.

Here we have BIDS, UBID and ONSL. All are into e-commerce
and all are doing similar things. So which one(s) are going
to be the winner?

The all sport a similar market cap but uBid is growing it's
revenue at least 5 times faster than Bid.com and has screamed
past Bid.com in the revenue department. While Bid.com used
to have higher revenue than uBid it now just HOPES that it's
annual revenue will be 1/2 of the revenue that uBid has in a
single quarter.

You like the sector? OK, now do you take the slow grower or
the fast grower? Same price for either. Do you take the slow
grower that turned out a $3M quarter or the fast grower that
just turned out a $40M+ quarter? Same price for either.

Seems simple enough to me Beginer13, you go with the winner
and dump the lower."
