My only agenda here is truth, whatever that is.

Of course all big cities have social problems. I can't name one that has none. But I can name a LOT that have fewer social problems than D.C. In fact, I can't name a single one that MORE social problems than D.C., except perhaps some of the smaller North Jersey cities. After all, what other city would not only elect, but RE-elect Marion Barry their mayor? What other major city, in this booming economy, is broke?

You say I don't answer your questions. But you haven't answered mine -- if the government is doing such a great job making D.C. a world class city, how come they still have such great UNSOLVED social problems? NYC had a problems with crime, and it tackled and solved it. Cleveland had major budget problems, it virtually went bankrupt, it waded in and solved them. D.C. -- what have they done to solve the problems (not just keep running expensive programs that don't work -- that isn't an answer!)
