...your interpretation or mine?
$95.00 a month for living expenses in Brooklyn. Who are they renting from, the mice? I guess being that NYC is the seed of all evil they have to stay close(and I don't mean that negatively even though it could be taken that way by some). I'd think living out of the city would be a less expensive venture. And why a fixed income. Surely the amount of money coming in varies from month to month. Who decides where it goes if it goes anywhere at all?
I wonder who goes to these 233 lands... must be poor missionary JW persons who fly over and stay in (presumably some are) rented housing. __________________________________ I'll grant you that the above is fairly well unfounded speculation souly based on an outsider's view of a "non-profit" organization (of which if it were truely NFP the JW would be the first one in history, realistically speaking) __________________________________
"It is unfair to say that "Jehovah's Witnesses from 25 years ago are screwed." " - that's exactly what I'm saying, it is unfair of the current JW Watchtower to say that people who still believe what they used to preach as UNCHANGABLE BIBLICAL FACT are now damned to hell because of it. I'm not the one being unfair, so don't whine to me about it.
I thought you wanted to know what was wrong with you religion... I'm just pointing out what I've learned from my Church, a few different (that's not the only one out there) websites, and my own personal issues. I guess if it is not included in the Bible then we can't have a rational discussion about it then? Pretty weak. But then that too is one of the problems with your religion: I can't discuss anything about it except pertaining to the Bible, and then only if I use your interpretation of the Bible. Kinda annoying if ya think about it.
Here's my substance: Luke 1:35 The angel answered, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.
Luke 24:37-39 They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost*. He said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost* does not have FLESH AND BONES, as you see I have."
*ghost or spirit...
and let's not forget Luke 4:41 Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, "You are the Son of God!" But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Christ.
Jesus was the Son of God (not Micheal - for surely Gabriel knew Micheal, both being Angels, notforwithall that Gabriel SAID SO). Jesus was Flesh after rising. Not a spirit(or Angel) as you claim. He also ascended in HUMAN FORM in that same chapter. Demons knew who He was and what He was. They never once refer to Him as Micheal or any other name of an Angel appearing anywhere else in the Bible.
I say to thee that at the very least this one belief of yours is not Biblical and holds no merit. Please inform me where it states ANYWHERE that Jesus was only an Angel and not the Son of God. And no I do not believe the first Angel's "reference" in Old Testament refer's to Jesus Christ, for the name Michael, while appearing 15 times in the Bible, refers to a protectorate or Angel only three times, once in Daniel(where he is protectorate, not savior), once in Jude(where he is mentioned in ADDITION to Jesus Christ our Savior), and once in Revelation (where the son(Jesus) of the woman(Mary) is the savior lamb, NOT Micheal who fights with Satan). ABSOLUTELY NO on the Micheal=Jesus teaching. (unless you make inferences this can NOT be a Biblical possibility)
..and that is just one of the problems with JW's... |
