More on CPQ ...

A/R decreased sequentially by about $443 MM, and inventories increased by $75MM. I think that the decrease in A/R is an indication that the channel problem is decreasing, but it is difficult to say because there is no breakdown between product and service A/R. I am left scratching my head at the increase in inventories which now stands at 32 days (not counting what's in the channel). Assuming that 70% of the A/R is channel related (I'm pulling a number out of the air here -- it could be much higher) we would get an additional 53 days of inventory, or about 12 weeks total.

We will need to see what the 10-Q looks like, but the preliminary indications are that CPQ is ever so sloooowly turning around.
