The Fed is a friend to the market. August will be sunny with clear skies. Now this fall when the media begins its Y2K scare, maybe it will rain a little bit on the indexes.

If Mr. Magner wanted to post believable speculative opinions about the short-term demise of the market, then he should be posting just about Y2K. It doesn't matter that U.S. power companies, brokerages and banks may be ready for Y2K. The fact is that foreign countries are not even close to being ready and I must remind you that we are a heavy heavy exporter of goods. Now this theory is believable! All the other theories have been disproven over and over.
