I have now officially hired enough staff to free me almost completely for solely stock picking, researching, more detailed watch lists, Calendars will be perfection, everything about the company, that could influence earnings, including technical status, news from analysts, possible new products etc.. in fact the emphasis will go from the newsletter to the calendar. All this will be available in printable easily accessible pop up windows. The difference will be light night and day.
Newsletters will now be more like 'last minute updates before the actual reports' because we know the technical situation will change the last few days before earnings. Newsletters will not contain quite so much information (of course during the less intense season we will do even more research on particular stocks but not during the most intense 2 weeks, we will keep things more concise.)
1Webmaster for all problems getting online, 1 for billing, 2 researchers, 2 programmers, technicians to answer all e-mails, Phone callers for confirming 'problem' earnings plays. I will only be aailabe about 1 hour a day for personal e-mail answering. I won't be up all night at least by next week.. Gonna get the full blown Bloomberg installed by end of August, Time line for everything from 1 week to 6 weeks. The Bloomberg will focus on at least 10 watch lists at one time and all the earnings plays.. Scrolled down in real-time. Of course we can program it for other plays as well.
I've learned to delegate finally and found a staff (a lot of them locals from brokerages in Boca/Ft. Lauderdale) and you will notice the difference almost immediately. I got all this from a newly hired management consultant and of course a publicist. I am going to be a good student and took all their advice.
And best of all the watchlists will now come out be about 10:00 E.S.T. The book will take a little time by (September and that is the only thing that will be different and take a little extra time).. Expect a calendar of first 2 weeks of earnings plays in August by Sunday the first. Things have been growing too quickly and I have seen the light. I had to decide to delegate once and for all.... |
