Welcome to this thread. I wouldn't worry over criticism like you were responding to. A few months ago another person here (HJ) would trade 1k shares at a time. Usually short amzn. I was shorting 100 shares and that would take me into full margin. He would say the only difference between our positions is a tiny zero. Well, since then the acct has grown, and I can tack on that zero when it is warranted.

But why are you short amzn ? Do you have a process to tell you when to get out, like a stop loss point ?
