charles, There was a lot to digest from the interview. The 0.18um from Austin in 4th qtr is good news to hear confirmed. Perhaps the most interesting is the projections for greater than 20 mil K6s in fy99. Given that only 8 million have been sold to date (q1 +2), he is looking for 6 mil+ for each of the next two qtrs. This, combined with his enthusiasm for 1 mil+ Athlons in the 4th qtr and the exploding non-cpu segment, make the doom and gloom scenarios seem out of place. What is your take on this? Overall, that was a nice piece of interviewing. Extreme deserves to be lauded for their efforts. P.S. Did you read the questions that were avoided?
