If the orders were cancelled, I presume that they would show as a negative booking. One possibility is that there could be "push outs" that could continue to be pushed out. Another is that VECO is managing shipments to a certain extent to assure that strong PE shipments next quarter can offset weak metrology shipments. A third possibility is that they haven't ramped up production to a high enough level yet, after all they have never shipped over $30m of PE in a quarter before.

My suspicion is that the truth is some combination of the above. I am pretty sure that there have been some push outs. I also believe based on prior quarters that VECO is pretty could at managing billings to avoid really bad quarters. And I think that there is a possibility that there are some production bottlenecks in ramping to a higher level of PE shipments.
