Interposing and creating are not mutually exclusive. Lawyers can create solutions by interposing in a disagreement their knowledge of the operative rules. They can create justice, too, or wrest it out of a recalcitrant world, by the interposition of their skills. They can create a will, or a simple contract that protects both parties to it, or a Constitution.
