Hi MNI,
I felt there was somebody sitting behind me... ehehe! You said: Sometimes I felt like you are arrogant also. This perception seems widespread. A reason to think about it?
Indeed, MNI, this perception of yours SEEMS widespread --by you-- while, actually, it's merely limited to a handful of uptight folks.... For one, since most of my literature is usually on the fringe of political correctness, it tends to get all my denigrators setting about me first. That's classical cyberbehavior --doesn't take a PhD in psychology! Meanwhile, the lurkers who either support my opinions or who don't have reserves about them, just keep mute.... And the outcome is the usual clash of extremes: reactionary conservative freaks vs. liberal aficionados, peace-and-love doves vs. pro-NATO hawks, etc., etc.
As far as I'm concerned, I'd rather keep in mind all these gestures of gratitude I've received (the 'Merci', 'Mon ami', and the like), not to speak of indirect compliments as regards the relevance of my analyses --in this respect, I recall Ron Reece appreciating my viewpoint as an astute one... Yet, as one might expect, my supporters are inclined to discretion....
Regards, Gustave. |
