KL - You May be Right for Oil But How About Gas PTEN released its earnings today. Their utilization is up to 41% for July from the first six month average in the low 30's. Yesterday's gas build was expected to be 70 Bcfe but was only 41 Bcfe. The heat wave continues. Also check out the comment made today by Grey Wolf's CEO that they will not cut their day rates to increase utilization or lay off any more workers. The train may be leaving the station for the natural gas land drillers.
