You are correct. The Sony semiconductor plant is in San Antonio. They also have a small automotive division in Mc Allen. I was wrong about the Austin area although they do have a small design center in Austin.

Sorry for the misinformation. I do go along with you on your assessment. Sony would have nothing to gain with the CRUS portfolio. I doesn't make sense. Sony has for the last 10 years or so taken the road of partnerships and license agreements for the most part. Strategically, this makes more sense because you only pay for what you use.

PS and OT

I would not bet against Sony partnering with Diamond on the RIO. I haven't heard anything regarding Sony coming out with and MP3 player and you can bet your bottom dollar they won't sit on their hands in this market.
