The 100 level has supported Amazon once again. This level looks pretty solid in the face of a broad market sell-off. IMO, it will probably hold above this level for a while but if the overall market continues to weaken and sufficient time is spent to absorb buyers who think of this level as an opportunity, AMZN could crash significantly bellow it. The split and prospects for robust Christmas sales suggest that the stock will move higher - at least after the downtrend in the market has eased. However, nervousness could remain in the backs of investors minds as they remember last year at this time. Maybe it needs to get into late August or September for Amazon to start a more sustained rally.
