CONV is a rapidly growing national provider of single-source data and voice communications systems, services and solutions to small and medium sized businesses. Through a combination of 14 acquisitions and strong internal growth, they have provided services or products to more than 33,000 customers since 1/1/98. By operating networks both inside and outside customers' premises, businesses are able to use state-of-the-art communications solutions, including data and voice networks based on Internet Protocol (IP), electronic commerce, the Internet and sophisticated communications systems. Their strong management team is populated by industry veterans who will leverage their extensive expertise to drive revenue growth and expand margins.

Strategic plans target the firm achieving a goal of $2.5 billion in sales from covering 50 markets producing $50 million from each market. Sales projections are estimated by one firm to be more than $300 million in 2000 compared with just 61 million in 1998. According to the offering prospectus, Cisco Systems holds warrants to purchase 575,000 shares with an exercise price of $20.00 per share.

This is an exciting company which may, in my opinion, be an attractive acquisition candidate for large telecommunications companies trying to enter the voice-data market.
