For some unknown reason you seem to want to talk about the supply and demand balance of wafers. I'd be happy to do so, but the WFR thread would be more appropriate.

Despite your wandering arguments, my point has consistently been that if we see a major shift to DRDRAM, the supply of memory will drop dramatically, by 10-25%, and that this would lead to higher prices. Costs will rise, of course, and there is no guarantee that the new supply-demand balance would be more profitable than the current one, but it probably will be.
