Your continuing derisive attitude toward IBM is pretty funny. Thing is, their stockholders are the ones getting the best chuckles, though, as they laugh all the way to the bank. As for platforms, they are into Unix and NT. Is there anything wrong with their also continuing to milk MVS, JES2, etc., for the large customer base that likes their stability? Jeez, Wall Street rewards WalMart for selling BIC pens and Home Depot for selling John Deere lawnmowers, so what's wrong with making money off dug-up dinosaur computer bones? Do you question IBM's overall company strategy?

FWIW, IBM is one of Intel's best customers, you know.

Oh well, it goes on.
