Thanks Salah - Do you think the Novell development group trashed the e-commerce NLM interface design in favor of the Visigenic object broker utilizing the Moab "open platform" interface"? If so, this would result in a total 'rethink' of the interface and design accounting for the significant delay in the product. Long term IMO this is the way to go. Did CEO Schmidt have any say in such a change in direction? I sure hope so as we do not need another change in design and direction at this point <ug!>. The only positive I can see in this move, (if it is as I suggested) is (1) Ms Denise Gibson nipped the design in the bud and went for the "open design" and (2) Novell is willing to change in mid-track but needs the long term design vision which CEO Schmidt can provide. The net result of all of this is another delay in a very important product application. Let's hope they are on track now and CEO Schmidt agrees with the overall R&D changes and we do not get another round of "re-designs" in another six months. Thanks for the article.... EKS
