HB,
I respect Ed Yardeni's work on the Y2K problem, and it is becoming pretty obvious now that there are likely to be some very serious difficulties, especially in other countries around the world, who either started too late to correct their problems on time, or simply do not have enough money available to work on the problems correctly and or seriously. So even though the effects from Y2K should be at most light to moderate in this country, we still will most likely get some negative feedback from the other countries that should have a negative impact on our economy to some unknown degree.
Some nukes in this country are still trying very hard to beat the deadline, and a few may not make and will probably have to be shut down. But the jury is still out on that one. Yogi
