Susan, incidentally, this is an argument the bulls are wheeling out among others: that we had a 'bear market' last year, and a new bull market started in october. J. Favors e.g. argues that because of this, we have to expect at least a bull market of average duration plus the average bull market gain. in his opinion that means Dow 14,000 by october. we'll see.... regards, hb
