WEST ORANGE, NJ--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 29, 1999--Worldwide Entertainment & Sports Corp. (NASDAQ:WWES - news) announced today that its client, wide receiver O.J. McDuffie of the Miami Dolphins, has been awarded a four year, $20 million contract extension. Joel Segal, CEO of Worldwide's Football Management subsidiary, has a representation agreement with McDuffie. Worldwide is projecting approximately $400,000 in total agency fees over the term of this contract.

The 5-foot-10, 194-pound McDuffie is coming off a 1998 season in which he started all 16 games and accounted for his best season as a pro with 90 receptions for 1,050 yards and seven touchdowns. His 90 catches led the NFL last season. The Dolphins' first-round draft choice in 1993 out of Penn State, McDuffie has recorded 358 receptions for 4,415 yards and 27 touchdowns in his NFL career.
