The i810 started shipping about 2 months ago, and in the first batch, Intel shipped some test rejects or "escapees" by mistake - and initiated a recall of these - a very small number of i810s.

Then about 2 1/2 weeks ago, Intel or a customer uncovered a subtle bug in the real time clock, figured out a work-around with a BIOS update, and issued the update to its customers.

The AMDroids think this is a disaster for Intel.

Just wait until those laughALON chip sets get a few testers out there to find THOSE hidden bugs !
