Better take an economics class, Del. The president has very little to do with the economy. It is Congress that has the power to spend, spend, spend.

The computer revolution is driving much of the economy. Clinton has nothing to do with that. And despite his initial claims to the contrary, deadhead Gore did not invent the Internet. What a laugh!

Actually, the one man in government who has the greatest effect on the economy is Greenspan, a Reagan-Bush appointee(who years ago wanted to abolish the post he now holds as head of the Federal Reserve System).

People who think Clinton is responsible for the greatest economy in history are discounting the explosion in information technology and ignorant of their own wealth creation ability. The government doesn't create wealth, it can only limit it, reshuffle it or take it away.
