I have to think the company is also going to be putting more announcements about partnerships. The company should be getting ready for a very upbeat conference call to create a renewed enthusiasm about the stock. I hope so. It is just that my high expectations have been dashed so many times that I am waiting for confirmation before getting too excited. The Yahoo! delay has been attributed to Yahoo! as they make improvements to the bill pay interface on their site. What about all these other portals we have been waiting for? Checkfree's system, I would suspect, should be ready to get a site up-and-running rather fast, seeing as they already have the inner workings in place for other web-based sites. Do we have to hear from Yahoo! before any others can be announced? Let's hear about Excite, AOL, Lycos or any others rumored to be in the pipeline. Remaining bullish long-term, short-term cautious. Erik (IMHO)
