Are you saying Cisco can only handle OC3 level? I don't think that is what you are saying because this is off....as you probably are aware.

It seems most of the equipment vendors are prepared to handle "today" max of OC48 but the wave of start-ups, projects, and vaporware companies who are tackling lightspeed access 0c192+ has, in my little mind, kicked the big boys in the butt to get moving on the future needs of higher equipment capacity able to handle the oc192+ of the world. This is coming faster than we think.

I think the reason that LU and NT are getting these agreements in the carrier space sooner and more often than cisco is that this is their turf, for now, and they have long standing relationships and a solid customer base. It would be like Lucent/NT (without Bay) easily taking Cisco out of the data environment and stealing router business.
