I see what you mean, but unfortunately I'm a little lacking in my ability to read some of these trends (intl money flows, or economic trends etc) and apply them to the mkt. My background was in software in silicon valley, FA and venture investing, seed money etc. So mostly I can just tell you how much Ariba is worth vs. Marimba or peoplesoft. SOmetimes FA works with the net stocks, I had some puts on ebay that were good. That guy GST who used to hang here is on the Amazon thread pontificating the effects of currency trends, since he does a lot of work in asia. His advice is go to cash... if he sees a declining US mkt he isn't even willing to play it with puts! Furbies.... the only safe investment now
