The latest progress report (1999 quarterly report) was for a natural gas S.O.F.C. system. Global Thermoelectric's site update was specific about their progress in developing an Auxiliary Power Unit , plus a more specific use of an A.P.U. in trucks. The highest priority of the California Clean Air Board is to reduce the amount of particulates from diesel trucks. I interpret this as the diesel S.O.F.C. research is complete. Delphi's announcement (yesterday) of building a new line to produce a new generator for trucks indicates they have a licensing agreement with Global Thermoelectric.

A point of interest is that Delphi was not shy to publicly dispel any misinformation when Toyota publicly claimed the two of them had talks. To me this indicates that if Delphi and Global didn't have a deal Delphi would of done the same thing by now.

A food for thought question, is it normal for an "analyst" to set a one year target price and not publish how many shares the price is based on , a year is a long time. Is it $15.00 on 100 million shares or what?
