I think you should add that this is an isolated event. Most people who lose money in the market don't take extremely destructive measures like this. This guy must have had something else wrong with him to take these drastic actions. The market is NOT for everyone. I tried day trading, made money and lost money. I don't day trade anymore. Day trading is very much like gambling. If you look at day traders, it's interesting that many of them gamble as well. Not that there is anything wrong with gambling. Most people should just pick quality blue chip stocks, diversify and hold them for the long haul. Don't quit your day job. You don't get rich in the market overnight.
