time will only tell if this is a bear, but it sure as hell is starting to smell like one...hutch your not always right...

Don't smell like a bear to me, and living in BC, Canada I've smelt bear before. How with higher GDP can you call it a bear? It's only one number, not a trend. And what do you mean NOT always right? Geesh. I don't always need to be right to know when others are wrong. How do you value the price of gold, what is your basis? What are the historical trends? Are they correlated to ONLY US Dollar? What are the trends from 1971? If you can't answer those questions then you are basing your gold stocks choices on what: earnings? Then where are the earnings going to be in 6 months? And does having a hedge program in a rising gold market adversly effect earning?

Have you ever asked those question, seeked the answer, or do you buy/sell based on your gut? The last 4 days are the greatest opportunity to buy Banks/brokerages stocks. I hoped you jumped in. The people at the FRB & Fed are not dénounement by nature. They clearly speak in advance of what they believe is the problem areas. They announce it in advance, and for warned is for armed. This is the recoil of Greenspeak. But that said, it is still speculation on the part of hte markets. And the US markets are known for over reactions. So: There is no bear, this is a corrective phase from over bought. By Monday at the latest, it's over. Same for gold.

>if you have listened to the reports this person committed this act because he sustained large losses today.

Is this the same press that say GOLD is dead? Reporting from Atlanta TV said that:"He has not worked in months". So we are broadcasting hear say. Put it this way...

LET'S ALL KEEP THE SHOOTING STUFF OFF THE THREAD?
I'm done.
