Actually, Amazon has already offered (and may still be offering) $10 off your next Amazon purchase when you are the winning bidder on an Amazon auction. It would be MORE bold and really take away from eBay if Amazon would PAY sellers to list and buyers to bid. The idea would be to quickly build the traffic. How much would it be worth to Amazon to have one million active auctions?
