TNH, I've used Quotesmith to replace my company provided life insurance policy when I "retired". Very easy. A nurse comes to the house to take a blood sample for drugs and cholesterol, approval is fairly quick, and you have a choice of MANY different companies to go through. All the information you could want is available for each company policy at Quotesmith's website. They have since added Medical and Dental insurance policies. They're rated number one for what they do according to various magazine reviews. I new Cobol programmers were hard to find, but I though it was only because nobody used COBOL anymore. I took a short Cobol class in high school about 1972 or so and found it very non-commonsensical. Good luck Gary
