I want you to show me why lowering the rate is not revenue maximizing. I realize this goes against what you have chosen to believe. How can you take an opposite view and prove it? Did you know that it is common in proof theory to assert the opposite and see if you can logically deduce a contradiction? You can apply this reductio reasoning by assuming a lower rate. What does it gain vs what does it lose?
