Hi Jack ..... glad your still chewin on that PYNG bone.....

No, I missed the CNBC interview. When did it [ the mass shooting ] happen? I saw news last around 2:00pm today and there was no mention.

My opinion or hunch [ for what it is worth ] is that PYNG possibly picked it's sites because of "personal contacts" that Jacob's and Johnson have made over the years. They probably felt that that would be the best way to keep close tabs on what was going on. As well, it is always nice to have a "pro PYNG" associate working for the organization that is testing your new IO device.

Another possibly might be what could best be described as a conservative Canadian "Product Development / Sales" mentality which when mixed with what we call a "Dumb Brit" pompous attitude produces the

"Gee we had better think small for field trials cause our resources are limited and besides we are so damn smart that the product will sell itself"................. mentality.

This of course leads directly to the "we will only talk to the folks out there who come to us as opposed to us beating down doors" approach.

In short ...... dammed if I can really answer the question but thanks for the opportunity to blow off some steam.

LOR

P.S.- I have made it my personal objective to track down someone in J&J to find out what really happened there last year ......... I never did come away with a clear picture of what << PYNG >> was hoping to achieve with those meetings.
