Another point just occurred to me, Coug. Barton was suspected of having murdered his first wife and his mother-in-law -- in 1994, long before he became a day trader. His killing spree yesterday (which included murdering his second wife and his own children) would seem to indicate he may indeed have been guilty.

The fact that he was a day trader is fortuitous. Whatever he did for a living, a guy like that would probably have kept blowing, again and again and again, until he was stopped.

So the Atlanta tragedy says absolutely nothing about day traders in general, still less about "Us," which I assume includes investors who do not day trade.
