On toning down the friction with NT, Mike and Joe

Its my belief that Marengi made the following error. He perceived the
need to share the enterprise with MSFT rather than the need to provide
for the existence of NT on the enterprise network.

There is a big difference.

In my opinion not having a small server product is the major hole in Novell's product line and not doing anything about it was a major Marengi mistake. The decision not to compete with MSFT could have buried this company.
