Haim, while i'm on my bear rant, i want to put a real F***ing scare into everybody here too shake em up out of the complacency that has lured everybody into this bull market and has painted the prudent bears as evil naysayers and doomsters.

This whole financial system is built on leverage on leverage on leverage, JK Galbraith speaks volumes of this, and the financial community has dimmed his message to hush. Can you remember the naysayers of continous gains in July of 96 and the PBS news story about stock mania and the mania of IOM at that time, the "irrational exhuberance" speech by Greenspan in late 96, the comparisons of 1987 to 1997 on the Barrons cover in Summer of 1997, the comparisons of dow 100, 1000 ceilings in march of 1999 that have been forgotten,

that is all past, now soft will double and be the first trillion $ company and there is very little skepticism in the press.

and of course i'm posting this message on a thread that the big financial collapse is a myth, which is the ultimate contrary indicator.

I think we have been lulled into a stupid sleep by the pervasive media.

I think inspector gadget will be working overtime in y2k -g-.

As, John Pitera noted Prechter threw in the towel and resigned from writing the EWT newsletter just recently - OUCH!
