I just got the wire on SUNW's liscense agreement with LG Semicon Ltd., a Mitsubushi Electronic Corp. unit, NEC Corp and Samsung Electronics to make the new JAVA chips. That looks like it could be good.

Next question, a late wire about a company called AMARA an Atlanta based start-up company annouced today the release of its Webbasic Netscpae Navigator 2.0 Plug-in. This is supposed to be an alternative to SUNW's JAVA.

Webbasic applets are a combination of a compatible subset of Visual Basic for applications and Amara's webbasic API. The Webbasci API is a group of over 100 functions that extend Basic by allowing the creation and manipulation of objects. Webasic has built in objects for tabbed-dialogs, spreadsheets, buttons, lablels, animation, presentation and more.

Theres more to this story check them out at www.inetnow.net/~webbasic/webbasic.html or call 770-469-4346.

Does anyone think this can cause a threat to JAVA???

LONG SUNW
