what the hell.....whats another 15 million shares.

the trend continues......partners at Mitchell Madison get rich....at the expense of the average usweb shareholder.

one almost wonders whether this is Shaws way of fighting his own companies insider selling....drive the share price low enough and maybe the insiders will stop selling....i wouldnt bet on it though, there is not a price point that they have been unwilling sellers to date.

i dont doubt that Mitchell Madison is a fine firm with talented partners.

i dont doubt that Shaw is a capable CEO strategically and operationally.

i seriously doubt whether anybody other than acquirees and insiders will make good money on this stock.

to Shaws credit though, he is going to drive all the enhusiasm out of usweb. to date there has been excessive enthusiasm which created expectations that would be disappointed in the end. now at least he can drive the stock down to 15 and maybe in a couple of years its worth 40.
