A couple of posts from Yahoo. Partnership would be great news but the comment about Phase III is incorrect. PRO 2000 is just starting Phase II with funding from the government. Using someone elses money for trials is always a good sign. Procept has some potential but nothing will ever happen unless they start releasing some press releases!

". Is it worth investing in (now trading at less than $2) on the possibility of some very good returns down the
(hopefully short) road? Or is it moribund and likely to stay in the cellar?"

You would be better off asking a fortune-teller. As with all stocks, NOBODY can guarentee which direction
the price will go. It is still a risk, especially in the biotech sector.

"WHAT IS THE NEXT MAJOR EVENT THAT SHOULD GIVE SOME INDICATION OF
WHETHER THERE IS LIFE IN THIS PARTICULAR COMPANY?"

The fact that Pro 2000 has successfully made it to Phase III testing is a good sign, in and of itself, I would
hazard to guess that more than 75% of all new drugs/treatments/devices don't make it through Phase I & II.
Thus, the probability of approval , although not assurred, is pretty good IMHO.

The only events that would indicate life in the company, as you put it, are FDA approval or press releases
about the success of Phase III trials (unfortunately the FDA has strict rules about what can be said by the
company during this period). The second is some announcement regarding funding of Phase III trials, there
had been some speculation that PRCT may get some government funding to complete the testing. Lastly, any
partnership announcements would also be a good sign, as they would indicate that the partner

1) Is fairly certain that the drug will receive FDA approval
2) Will fund the remaining portion of Phase III testing
3) Will market/sell the drug for PRCT

Hope this helps,

Question: Future of PRCT?

I'm a newbie to this stock.

It appears that some of you folks have been with it for awhile (not for the better, I take it). The three- and
five-year charts on this company's stock plunge (from around $600 to less than a buck recently????!) are
pure Wes Craven material--scary! But on a hunch I wanna follow it.

I'd appreciate any thoughts regarding Procept's future. Is it worth investing in (now trading at less than $2)
on the possibility of some very good returns down the (hopefully short) road? Or is it moribund and likely to stay in the cellar?

Specific question of which I'd also appreciate your insights: WHAT IS THE NEXT MAJOR EVENT
THAT SHOULD GIVE SOME INDICATION OF WHETHER THERE IS LIFE IN THIS
PARTICULAR COMPANY?

I understand that its product, PRO 2000, is undergoing clinical trials... are there any "milestones" in the near future (ones that might: a) point to long-term future, and, b) generate either short-term rise or dip in stock?

THANKS! All comments, of course, taken with grain of salt while searching for a kernal of truth! :-)
