There is no question that the drive sector has been making technology related purchases over the last couple years, and that VECO has benefited from this. On the other hand they haven't been making capacity related purchases, and the semi portion of VECO's business has been dead. Thus VECO has been able to maintain flat sales, or slight increases, and the PE reflects that. There is every reason to believe that VECO will continue to take market share, and continue to find profitable niches in the future. Perhaps GMR related PE sales will fall, and GMR related metrology sales will rise in the future. But I don't see any reason to believe that sales will die next year. Do you?
