demise of the DTAG ISDN investment? I don't think so, not in my life time... Alternative (dedicated) networks, maybe. The ISDN infra structure heavily subsidized by the government (Bundespost) with the legacy problem now in DTAG's hands will eventually become a serious problem and here you are right. Yes, it is legalized. No, G-Lite will not be legalized by ETSI for the very same reason. Most professional subscribers, who can afford to pay for higher speed DSL services prefer symmetrical solutions and ADSL is asymmetrical. Prime ADSL services IMHO may find few homes there besides movie theatres and similar subscribers, who need high speed down-load only.
