Our trading styles are different... for now.
I remember you posting that you traded on paper for 6 mo before attempting to do it for real and now you do well for yourself. Well that is kind of what I'm doing with this thread. I have never attempted to daytrade so I am observing until I feel more comfortable. In the interim I want to take a shot at some of these IPOs that have become oversold/undervalued due to market conditions. You can never be quite sure which one is going to explode shortly after it's debut- look at JWEB, WITC, MAIL, STMP to name a few. I hold many IPOs through Wit and I refuse to tarnish my account by violating the 60 day hold. But thanks to that 60 day hold I have realized much more gains then I'd've had had I sold on day one.
So until I feel comfortable to daytrade these things on day one I will observe and only dive in where I feel risk is minimal.
